All you need to know for your stay in Crete

We are locals and very passionate about our island and what we do and whatever we offer is precise and accurate.

We simply have the will and time to deal with each one of you individually and treat you as a person and not as a booking or number in a booking search engine.

We offer a very personal service, both at the time of booking and during your actual holiday.

Our holiday advisors are always available to suggest you the perfect hotel, villa, or apartment in Crete and provide you with all kinds of information.

Our properties are regularly inspected and comply with all regulations and laws while a local representative is always available.

 If you are arriving earlier than this, please get in touch. If we don't have any departing guests we may be able to accommodate you.

Alternatively, you are welcome to park up and then walk down to visit some of our suggestions in this guide - there are plenty of options to fill a few hours.

In case the owner is not able to be at the property on your arrival to welcome you in, please follow the key pickup instructions that you have received from Oreo Travel’s Reservations Department.

The owner or a representative will visit you the next day to greet you and show you around.

 Should you wish to leave later than this, please contact us beforehand. If we have guests arriving it will be tricky, but we will always try! You can always contact our agency or the owner directly. Before you leave, we would appreciate it if you could do the following:

  • Ensure all doors and windows are closed
  • Make sure that all the devices of the property are switched off
  • Please make sure that you have packed all your belongings
  • Please leave the key at the same place from where you collected it

There is free regular maid service and towels and bed linen changing.

Please take good care of the rented property, and turn off electric appliances and taps. Do not leave the air -conditioning on if there is no need for it, for example, while you are out of the property, and do not use it with open windows and doors. Please close all the doors and windows when out.

Our organization is not responsible for loss or damage to clients because of circumstances beyond its control, such as failures of public supplies or transportation, acts by governments, civil disturbances etc. In the unlikely event of any observations or complaints, please discuss these directly with us, at the time, during your stay.

The accommodation is for the exclusive use of the clients and is not to be sub-let under any circumstances. All breakages and losses must be paid for prior to departure. On the day of the departure, you are kindly requested to leave the villa at the indicated time so that it can be cleaned and prepared for other guests. Late departure depends on the availability of the villa.

The Client is responsible for ensuring the property is left in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and in the same condition of repair as upon arrival. Any excessive cleaning, loss, or damage to the property or debts or charges incurred will be itemized and charged to the Client. Clients are required to act in a responsible manner at all times, and to act with respect towards other guests, neighbors, the owner, and their staff. Oreo Travel reserves the absolute right to require any individual to vacate a property for disruptive behavior, in which case there would be no refund of any rental payment.
